Select Entity Types

The Boundaries, Hydrography, Roads, & Trails, Railroads, and Misc. Transport items on the View Menu each bring up similar windows which allow you to choose specific types, or groups of types, to display within each theme. Below is the window for the Boundaries theme:

Select All
This button will cause all types in the window to be selected, as they have been in the above image. You may then click on any individual items you wish to deselect.

Select None
This button deselects all of the types. You may then click on any individual items you wish to select.

The eight buttons below Select All and Select None select and deselect various types, or groups of types, within each theme. Each theme has a button marked Other, which selects or deselects types not listed by the other buttons, and a button marked Unknown, which selects objects which have not been identified with an entity type, such as the neatline surrounding the surface.

Note that in order to view any type in a theme, that theme must have been loaded. If any surface was loaded with certain themes deselected in the Themes window (see Themes), they will not be visible for that surface. If you wish to see them, you may go to the File menu, choose Themes, select the desired themes, and then reload the surface.
