Point
to the place of interest and press the right mouse button to bring up the
Right Click Menu. From the menu you will be able to select various
operations to perform on that point. Note that all operations from
the Right Click Menu are relative to the position of the pointer when the
menu was brought up.
Click on the links below for details:
Selecting Zoom Out will cut the scale of the map in half.
Selecting Zoom In will double the scale of the map.
Selecting What's This? will give you additional information about
the line and/or polygon you are pointing to.
Selecting Measure Path allows you to measure the distance from
the pointnode you selected to any other pointnode in the same theme via
a path that you define (assuming that there are lines available to support
such a path).
Selecting Shortest Path allows you to measure the distance from
the pointnode you selected to any other pointnode in the same theme via
a path that xviewsdts defines (assuming that there are lines available
to support such a path). This will be the shortest path available
via existing lines.
Selecting Load Large Scale will load the large scale surface
which covers the point you selected.
Selecting Load Intermediate Scale will load the intermediate
scale surface which covers the point you selected.
Selecting Load Small Scale will load the small scale surface
which covers the point you selected.
Selecting Transfer Characteristics will display information about the surface which covers the point you selected.
